My girlfriend doesn't really like IPAs, so when we bought a Sam Adams variety pack, it's up to me to drink them.
A deep copper color with a decent off white colored head. Smells of pine and floral hops, but not overly so. A pleasant beer to relax with, the bitterness is balanced by a strong malt and the hops have that familiar Sam Adams taste. The mouthfeel is clean, however leaves an "i just sucked on a pine tree" residue that stays with you awhile.
My overall impression is that this is a solid ipa offering. The reason I would buy it again is that it is readily available and at a cheap price.
