Picked up a 6pack of 12oz bottles from BevMo in San Jose, CA. Probably paid in the neighborhood of $8.50 for the pack. I'm reviewing on probably beer 4 of the pack and must note that I have not been particularly impressed with the first 3. I pour into a standard pint glass to review.
Half inch off white head that is rather sparse and consistent of larger sized bubbles. Transparent and copper in color with a good amount of carbonation bubbles rising from the bottom of the glass. A nice layer of retention sticks around.
Faint nose consists of grassy hops and caramel malts with a raw graininess to it. Certainly on the more mild and balanced side for the style. Hops are too muted for my liking, perhaps this would be better marketed as a pale ale.
Taste is very clean, pale and balanced. Lots of caramel malt nodding towards biscuity all balanced with grassy hops nodding towards citrusy.
Medium body with pleasant and lively carbonation and a finish that is slightly crisp.
All in all a very drinkable and enjoyable yet not entirely memorable beer. I think I'd pass for the price on this one next time, but am not disappointed I tried it.

Wow. Just wow. Sooo much better than the Rouge IPA they are selling.
Jesus this is beer at its finest.
Smooth. Hoppy. Sweet. Bitter.
Smells like an orgasm.
Tastes like one too.
I could just be "over excited" but this is absolutely my new favourite beer. Going to try about 24 more...
But this is insanely good...
