Pours amber in color, very clear with a solid slightly off-white head. Aroma is flowery with grassy, slightly sweet and piney notes. Tasting the beer hops have a bit of a bite upfront and some bitterness comes through as you drink it and lingers a bit as the aftertaste. There is sweet malty base as well. Probably medium-light body. Drinkable. Enjoyable, but not my favorite IPA.
The best part of this beer for me is the opportunity to drink five deconstructed ales. Having reviewed the part I get a little more appreciation for the components that go into putting the final product together.
