a: Lighter than average red, more ruby than crimson.
s: Not very floral, but defintely hop filled. Smells a little like my old recording studio used to smell, perhaps pine, or like oiled wood...
t: I ussually dont read reviews before i rate a beer, but i feel like my taste of this beer got corrupted when someone said it tastes like peppercorns. And it does, it really does.
m: Not as harsh as some ipa's.
o: But, its not all bad. In fact, i like the unpretentiousness of this beer (unlike that sentence). But it could use a dry hop, which would elaborate more on the florality of the hops, and balance the taste as well as add depth. Its an average to above average example of the style.
