Copper to ruby red in color with a nice off-white head. This has a beautiful foamy head. Lace already along the glass.
Nice noticable hop notes of citrus, and pine.
Medium bodied with a light caramel character. Bready notes and biscuit complement the hops well. Oil and resin really round out this IPA. Sam Adams still knows how to build a great beer.
Plenty of hops but still a very nice malt character make this IPA quite drinkable.

Medium orange hue; very see-through. Obviously filtered.
Noticeable bitterness & hop aroma in the nose.
Nice white head, good lacing throughout.
As for the taste...where did the hops go?! They're in the nose but vanish on the tongue. Tastes very much like a lager to me. This has 3 months left on it's 'best before' date, so can't blame it on age.
Watery, with no discernable flavor. A touch of bitterness on the back end, but hardly noticeable. After an interesting nose, this macro falls way flat.
