Pours a clear copper color. There is not much to the look but a nice tan head with very good retention.
Smell has a nice rye bread smell. There is a very good malt base with a hoppy, citrus tinge.
Taste is great. The taste starts with a great malty base of rye bread and caramel malts. At the end there is a nice balanced hop shot.
Mouthfeel is very nice. This beer has a medium body with a smooth feel.
Drinkability is the best part of this beer. The tastes of this beer are so well balanced that the drink goes down nice and easy. An awesome new selection from Sam that I would recommend for anyone. I will be upset when this one goes away.

A: Pours an opaque copper color, with a white head.
S: Spicy rye, bready malt, a subdued floral and piney hop character in the nose.
T: More spicy rye, some wheat, some bready malt, hop flavor is still piney, floral and subdued.
M: Medium bodied, a bit harsh.
O: Recommended if you want a rye beer that doesn't have a strong hop character to it. This beer really focuses on the rye and other malts. That said, I enjoyed it.
