Yellow pour, some haze, 1/4" white head. Aroma hit the kolsch yeast spot.

Taste was alright, not flavor country other than the yeast, which is pretty much the engine for a kolsch from what I can tell. Mild lemon tree. Pair it with food or hot weather.

From notes I took a few years ago.

Look - Medium golden with a two finger white head. Retention is fairly good and it leaves a good bit of lacing.

Smell -Quite flowery, A tad bready.

Taste - Follows the nose completely. The floral aspect opens up and becomes more respectable. Finishes a bit juicy.

Feel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.

Overall - As you can tell, I didn't go into nearly the depth I do now days haha. but I do remember this one being pretty good.

Appearance: Clear medium golden in color, with a large off-white head, which fades only slowly. Lots of fat bubbles drift lazily to the surface. The lacing leaves thick, irregular tide marks.

Aroma: Floral notes, and an abundance of biscuit and bread aromas.

Taste: Opens with lots of bread-like malt and abundant citrus and floral hops. The hops strike me as being a bit more aggressive than in traditional German example, but this is very good, nonetheless. The malt and hops strike a harmonious balance throughout the taste. Finishes with a mild citric and floral bitterness, and a flourish of sweet malt.

Mouth feel: Smooth, soft, quite pleasant.

Drinkability/notes: Nicely-done, very drinkable, even a bit over-the-top.

Presentation: packaged in a custom twelve-ounce brown glass long neck bottle with a pry-off crown, served in a New Belgium Brewing chalice.
