Poured from a bottle into a pint glass.
A: Aggressive pour yields a huge 2.5 finger white head with surprisingly good retention. Excellent lacing. Clear gold color with little carobonation rising up the glass.
S: Quite sweet and faintly bready. Cracker-like malt base becomes dominant. All in all fairly faint.
T: Similar to the nose. More sweet breadiness. Grassy hops in the middle. Finish is clean and dry.
M: Slightly creamier mouthfeel than I am used to in a kolsch. Not to say it is creamy, just more than usual. Moderate carbonation.
O: A bit heavy for a kolsch in my opinion. I like this style, but I don't particularly think this one is the best I've found. Definitely drinkable, but there are better.
