A- Pours a clear light hay color. Not much of a head upon pouring but a nice fluffy white head just coats the surface in splotches. Head fades as you drink and leaves behind a nice lacing on the glass.
S- fruity gummi bear scent takes center stage, some mild sulfur notes. This smells a bit rustic to me, almost like a wild yeast got in here grains are masked by the fruitiness.
T-Suprisingly good. Fruitiness is well controlled at first sip and kind of dries out giving way to a nice smooth graininess. Sulphur is well controlled and seems to aid in the pleasing driness. Fruitiness does not linger to long and you are left with a clean palate.
M.F.-Carbo seems a bit low, a slight driness clears the palate.
O-A nicely developed beer. Its a fruity kolsch and I prefer mine on the clean side. I think this gives a little bit of both worlds. The fruitines shows up beginning palate and then quickly dries out. I think this should replace summer ale
