Bottle into big red wine glass.
Pours very pale clear straw, with a thin white head that disappears quickly. Little to no lacing.
Nose carries notes of white grapes with a spicy twang, almost minty, heavily herbal, bit of hay.
Taste is mellow, grainy malt underneath with an herbal, dry grass quality lingering on the finish. Sweetness comes through with some underlying white grape skins. Rustic fits, I think.
Mouthfeel is slick, smooth, light, with a mellow crispness. Carbonation is lightish, but still on the big-bubbled side.
Overall, a nicely put together beer. Quite enjoyable, and kudos to bbc for being this adventurous with their mixed pack.
