I must admit I approached this beer with a bit of apprehension. I really do not like the Cherry Wheat. I was pleasantly surprised.
Poured from a 12 oz. bottle into the only clean glass I could find at the moment, a tulip. It pours an opaque cola color with a one finger off white head that dissipated pretty quickly to a thin cap, then a ring that leaves some nice lacing.
Aroma: Very cherry candy up front followed by chocolate. Very much like a chocolate covered cherry. I couldn't really discern any hop aroma, but there was a mild earthiness in the background.
Taste: Following the smell, there's cherry candy and soft chocolate. It's not a 'grown up' bitter chocolate, but a chocolate my kids would like. There's a fair amount of sweetness. Thankfully it's all balanced nicely with some bitterness from the malts and hops, with clean carbonation in the finish.
Feel: It's medium bodied with fizzy carbonation that keeps the beer from feeling heavy and helps it finish cleanly.
I certainly wouldn't buy a 6 pack full of the stuff, but it's pleasant enough. I like it much better than the Cherry Wheat.

12oz. bottle poured into a snifter.
(A)- Pours a pitch black color. Produced some tan froth and bubbles.
(S)- A wonderful aroma of chocolate covered cherries with just a hint of raisins. Dessert in a glass.
(T)- A slight chalkiness meets a ton of chocolate covered cherries. Ever so slight medicinal(cough syrup) quality to the fruit, but subtle.
(M)- A good carbonation level. I like the balance aside from the chalky medicinal parts. It gets to be rather sweet as it warms.
(O)- The smell is glorious. Too bad the rest of the beer is not up to par.
