Recently picked up a Samuel Adams Winter Variety Pack. Label states "enjoy by April".
A - Darker coke brown color. Whiter head that quickly fades leaving a slight spotted lacing.
S - Heavy chocolate, sweet cherry. Almost like chocolate milk mixed with the juice from maraschino cherries. Really faint malts in the background.
T - Kind of follows the smell. Strong up front chocolate laced with cherry. Not much else.
M - Slightly thicker, lower to mid levels of carbonation.
O - Overall SAs Chocolate Cherry Bock gives me the impression of melted candy. I'm sure others would like it, and it's along the lines of what I expected, but it's not for me.
