Pours amber in color with nice off-white, sticky head. Aroma is full to the brim with wonder pine notes of Hallertau Mittelfrueh hops. I was never big of actually figuring difference between hop varieties, but now I have a name to put to the aroma, and I must say that I really like these hops. Taste is sweet (biscuity malty base), but hops are very subdued. You can feel them, but there is definitely no pronounced bitterness (as opposed to the East Kent Goldings hops for example). Makes it fairly smooth and very drinkable.
This is beer two of day one of the Latitude 48 series tasting. Enjoying it!
