Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into a DFH IPA glass.

A: Light; golden clear, with a fine white head and gentle effervescence.

S: Toasty. Like all the other Latitude single hop series, a touch of caramel. Hint of lemon and not much else.

T: Really unassuming. My least favorite Latitude so far. Kind of awkwardly sweet with a murkish wishy-washy hop character. Aftertaste is ever so slightly herbal.

M: Rather sticky for such a beer. Thoroughly meh though.

O: Not my thing. Hallertau Blanc was SO good and this is SO ehhh.

Poured on-tap into a "pint" glass. Pours reddish orange with a small white head. Smells of citrus and piney hops. Tastes of piney hops with citrus and slight sugary notes. Beer is light-medium bodied with a good level of carbonation, good finish. Overall, a very good beer.

This is a clear amber-orange beer with a slight head. Aroma is downright disappointing...sweet malt mostly with some very faint hops (smells like generic homebrew pale ale). Taste is a little bit better, with moderate bitterness and some floral hops, but it still tastes like an underhopped pale ale, rather than an IPA. The SA house yeast makes a flavor contribution as well.

Poured out of a 12 oz bottle into my Sam Adams beer glass. This beer pours a very clear, medium amber color. Has a nice thick, creamy looking head about 1/2-2/3 inch thick when first poured. Eventually settles to a nice 1/4 inch with very nice lacing and a nice thick white ring lining the inside of the glass. Excellent head retention here. Aromas of caramel malt sweetness followed by citrus and pine hops and settles out with a hint of spice. the taste is pretty much the same, slightly toasted caramel malt sweetness upfront that gives way to piney, earthy, citrusy hop goodness. Not too bitter. A nice balance of the malty sweetness and the bitterness from the hops. Rounded out with a bit of a peppery spice bite. Has a crisp, smooth, slightly prickly, slightly stick and chewy, resinous mouthfeel. This one really coats the inside of my mouth and does not want to leave. The mouthfeel is also medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Worth a try for sure.

Poured from a bottle into a nonic pint.

A - Pours a crystal clear copper with a one-finger off white head with little retention. Hardly any lacing to speak of.

S - Healthy aroma of mixed fruits, spruce, and a slight vegetal odor.

T - Earthy and fruity, with hints of onion and garlic mixing with grapefruit and candied orange. Slightest hint of lime. A little pine in the finish, but this is more sweet than bitter. This hop and the caramel malt base beer work very well together.

M - Medium bodied, with standard Sam Adams prickly carbonation. A hint of creaminess in the mid-palate and it works. Finishes dry.

O - Pretty solid overall. Probably the most balanced IPA of the Latitude 48 Deconstructed series.
