Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into a Shaker pint glass.

APPEARANCE: pours a nice amber color with 1 finger off white head that dissipated quickly leaving a thin layer of bubbles, there was significant lacing on the glass, medium carbonation.

SMELL: flowery, sweet caramel, pine.

TASTE: the taste follows the nose, initially sweet then a mild piney hop profile, nicely balanced.

PALATE: medium body and carbonation.

OVERALL: This is a good IPA, the Hallertau Mittelfrueh Hops are somewhat mild but make a very balanced IPA. This one is not as good as Mosaic but better than East Kent Goldings. I would not hesitate to buy again.

12 oz bottle poured into snifter.
Part of the latitude 48 Deconstructed series.
A: pours a brilliant 2 finger white foam head, crystal clear dark copper body, carbonation, heavy stringy lacing in the beginning
S: tangerines, soft warm alcohol, fresh pine needles, other tropical fruit notes
M: medium creamy body, coats the tongue
T: tangerine, grapefruit rind, pine resin, malty, soft alcohol taste as it warms, slightly sweet finish
O: great hop, it's from Bavaria, Germany, easy drinking ipa single hop that has a soft bitterness like the bottle label says. Try it. 3.95 stars

From the 12 fl. oz. bottle with an expiration date of October 2014. Sampled on September 20, 2014.

Lovely looking copper pour with a big off-white head just like the others in the set.

Aroma of roasted malts with an earthy and semi-bold hop character. Not in my face but noticeable.

Medium to full body.

The taste is a nice mixture of roasted malts and bitter hops that are not to floral or grassy. They balance out right.

A: slight haze; bronze colored; 1 finger white head that receded slowly;

S: hops are up front with caramel malt in the background;

T: balanced up front with the hops building to a lightly bitter finish;

M: medium bodied; moderate carbonation:

O: more hop presence than I expected;
