A - Copper with a generous off-white head that lasts and leaves decent lacing.
S - Hints of smoked meat, bacon, wood, smoke, bread, etc., and a slight sweetness.
T - Umami (savory), bacon, smoked meat, subtle sweetness from malt, tame hop profile that lends a subtle spiciness.
M - Moderate mouthfeel that is slightly sticky yet goes down pretty smooth.
O - What a solid Rauchbier! It's a little more tame that it's German counterparts, but it is actually more sessionable because of that. This would be a great "into to the style" beer. Tasty, savory, and complete. No complaints from me at all. Great Job BBC!
