Had on tap.
Poured a clear ruby with a tan one finger head.
Aroma of cinnamon and nutmeg along with a little bit of roast. Spice is predominant though. A little bit of vanilla and allspice too.
The flavor was much like the smell. I especially like the roast character as this sets it apart from other pumpkin beers I have had. The beer wasn't too sweet and never really did become cloying.
Overall, a really great pumpkin beer and probably the best imperial variety I have had. Just wish I could find bottles of this.

Undated bottle at 45 degrees into standard pint glass
Aroma of spices
Head average (4 cm), light brown, frothy, rapidly diminishing to 2 mm ring
Lacing spotty; few small islands of various sized bubbles
Body dark amber, clear
Flavor begins slightly bitter with spices like a pumpkin pie; ends sweeter with an alcohol taste. No hops, no diacetyl.
Palate medium, oily, lively carbonation.
Not a particularly good beer, probably would taste better very cold. The appearance and aroma are both OK.
