Appearance: Dark Amber. Big head. Decent lace left.
Smell: Cinnamon and nutmeg.
Taste: Cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin, spice, and alcohol.

I think this is a great pumpkin ale; surely one of the best out there (which isn't saying much). I'm surprised at the current rating of 82. The spices are there. The kick is there. The taste not only compliments the smell, but is more intense. It's what I want from this type of drink. The nutmeg and cinnamon stand out the most. The smell is very warming. There's a nice bite to the drink. I would certainly get this again.

A- huge head on top of a dark amber. three finger head has awesome retention seems like it will last forever. fantastic lacing.

S- not a very big smell. All the traditional notes but everything seems faint and muted. Standard pumpkin and spices.

T- pumpkin and spice surrounded by a roasted nuttiness that seems a touch overdone.

M- good full body. Thick and a creamy finish.

It seemed like I had previously reviewed all the pumpkin brews, but they just keep making more for me to try. Here is another great one.

It is a dark reddish brown, very foamy affair. The aroma, surprise, pumpkin. The taste is a brown ale with spice, but mostly pumpkin. This is a thick and rich feeling brew, with loads of malt flavor lingering on the tongue. There is no boozy quality, or at least it is overridden by the malts. There is a little hops aroma, but generally the hop profile is well below the malts and pumpkin.

Overall this works and it is a great treat (but not a trick). Bool, the end!
