Pours a great looking black color. THere is good carbonation with a medium sized tan head that laces throughout the drink.
Smell is so great. A very strong coffee smell is so genuine. There are undernotes of chocolate, caramel, and good dark fruits also.
Taste is not as great as the smell. However it has a very nice coffee bean taste. A bit of the chocolate comes in to, but really dominated by the coffee taste.
Mouthfeel is a litte thin for what I like in a coffee state. A good bit of chewiness though which is good.
Drinkability is very good. I am not a really big coffee guy, but this beer is really good. It has nice coffee notes without being overpowering. One of the most balanced and drinkable coffee stouts I have ever had and would recommend anyone to try this brew.

A: Pours a dark, black with a short lived dark tan head.
S: Very malty aroma with no hop aroma. Lots of dark fruit, raisin. good amount of chocolate and coffee. Some alcohol notes in the aroma.
T: Big burst of coffee and cream with a chocolate hit soon after with a bit of raisin. Black coffee makes up the bulk of the aftertaste with a mild black olive note . No hop flavor to speak of. The alcohol is hidden well and it has a slight acidic bite. Finishes dry.
M: Medium full body almost chewy with low carbonation.
O: This is a decent stout. Big coffee flavor but for me a little too big, It lacks something, perhaps a complexity that other stouts have. It's definitely a beer that I would have no problem sitting back with on a cold winter night.
