Poured a dark red mahogany color with 2-3 three fingers of khaki tan frothy head. Good thick foamy lacing on the sides. Good retention as well.
Smelled an interesting mix of citrus and pine hops - grapefruit, tangerine - with some buttery toffee malts as well. Reminds me a bit of caramel corn.
Taste was still that butter awkward taste. Most certainly reminded me of buttery, toffee, caramel-flavored popcorn. Those grapefruit and pine hops aren’t as pronounced, but are still there. Nice warming feeling, though.
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long finish.
I just don’t dig butter beers. Not a big fan of this one, despite my rating not being too bad.
