A: Deep brown color pours to 2 fingers of foam that dissipates to a thick finger of head that lingers and clings all the way down the glass. Very nice.
S: Lots of sweet maltyness and dark fruits with a very light not of bready biscuit . Very enjoyable.
T: Alot of sweet maltyness up front leading into piney/citrus hops and then on to the citrus rind and bitters. After taste remains bitter.
M: Creamyness in the mouth, bitter aftertaste. Alcohol is not very noticeable until the dryness on the palette at the end.
O: Not a bad beer. Typical Sam Adams with the heavy hops hit but not unenjoyable. Would try it again, on tap.
