22-oz bottle into nonic pub glass
A few seconds after I opened the bottle, foam began to run out--highly carbonated, I guess.
A - large medium tan layer of thick foam over a murky body of copper/brown; head sticks around, lacing the glass beautifully
S - pine, citrus, earthy notes, caramel sweetenss
T - lots of pine and grapefruit up front, caramel sweetness moves in for a nice contrast, earthy and spicy hop notes answer back, finish is bitter and citrusy with a hint of residual malt sweetness
M - thick, creamy full body; high carbonation
O - Beautiful in appearance, intriguing in scent, delightfully complex in taste, pleasantly thick in feel, high in carbonation (which works well in this case). Tasman Red is a nice IPA and certainly worth a try.
