Poured from the bottle into a nonic pint glass.
A big solid simple off caramel colored head, three fingers deep lots of retention and swiss cheese bubbles. Body color is a very dark amber brown, nearly red and fairly clear.
Nose is pretty closed. Mild toasty brown sugar malts, hop presence feels English tea like and very buried.
A good bitter hop blasts comes through that feels very burnt and tannic tasting, even splintery wooden. Aftertaste hits with a faint dry cheap black pepper. Malt presence hinted on the nose seems to have sugar caramel richness but it not really brought to the forefront. There's a good body behind this beer with a thick malt backbone feeling, but not in taste.
Overall it's quite underwhelming and not that enjoyable for me, this isn't doing it for me. In the realm of DIPAs out there I can't see myself even enjoying this, or ever wanting to try it again.

From old, undated notes; poured from the bottle.
Dark orange color; murky.
Huge white head; frothy lacing.
Citrus hop competes with malt in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
A malt bomb of an IPA; we're approaching barleywine territory here. Still, not a bad brew.

Aroma is hops, flowers. Appearance: copper color, medium white head. Taste. Mostly nondescipt taste, a little pasty. A very nasty flavors late...mold/rotten vegetables? Or is it just flowers, which smell good but taste awful??? Feel: medium carbonation, medium body.
Nothing I would buy again.

Decent double from a 22oz. bomber. Hazy copper color with robust , creamy head, sides of glass are coated with head residue. Hops and malt vie equally for the aroma, and taste is sharply bitter, hints of citrus and caramel , and mouthfeel is velvety smooth. Way to go Sam!

From tasting notes. L: Pours brilliant amber crowned by a 2” light tan tinted off-white foam collar with a very fine bead. Provides thick lace.
S: Moderate to big hop nose
T: Background clean malty sweetness carries the hop flavors, like putting some sugar in a really strong iced tea – it brings things into balance. Alcohol is smooth, not hot. Bitterness is moderately high.
F: Medium full bodied, medium carbonation.
O: Well balanced, crisp, refreshing and well made.
