Appearance: The beer had a mild head and a light golden appearance.
Smell: The smell was largely unremarkable. Not what I would expect from a beer of this style. It smelled somewhat familiar, yet was so faint I honestly had trouble pin pointing specifics.
Taste: Whereas the appearance and smell appeared unremarkable, the taste was great surprise. The flavor was very prominent and unique. The citrusy flavor was delightful.
Mouthfeel: The consistency of the beer was about what you would expect from a Sam Adams beer, but not in a negative way.
Overall: This wasn't the greatest beer I've ever had, but it was above average. The initial experience was unremarkable, but the flavor more than made up for the beer where it was lacking.
