12oz bottle poured into a Sam Adams Perfect Pint glass.
A: Hazy as heck dull orange; minimal head and some lacing.
S: Citrus rind, orange peel, grapefruit pulp, pine...soapy and a bit floral...crisp pilsner malt and lager grains.
T: Smoother taste, hops are piney and citrusy but muddled in layer of husky grain...lemon...soapy again, with suggestions of flowers, grassy hops and grapefruit rind. Pretty bready, with a chalky/yeasty edge, as it warms...stone fruit (apricot) emerges as well.
MF: Crisp, clean and refreshing. Medium bodied. Moderate carbonation.
O: Can't get into this style of beer; might be a better offering to revisit in 90 degree weather. Drinkable but so forgettable.
