Poured from bottle to an imperial pint. Best by August 2012.
A: Golden and hazy with amber hues. Active carbonation and pillowy, white head. Nice retention and lacing.
S: Yeast forward with malt, honey, and orange in the nose.
T: Doughy yeast, grapefruit and lemon peel, honey, and a citrusy hops finish.
M: Standard Sam Adams lager mouthfeel. Medium-bodied with a touch of creaminess. Hops bitterness is fairly low.
O: An enjoyable spring seasonal, and the first Keller Bier I've ever tried. I'd like to check out more of this style. Instantly one of my favorite SA seasonals.
