A - A very active swirling pour yields two fingers worth of stiff rigid off-white froth comprised of lots of big chunky bubbles with a slightly whimsical rocky top... Stellar retention... A very deep haziness... The color is an uber pale straw color... Loaded with swirling micro-sized moderate to rapid paced carbonation... Some sediment can be seen floating about as well...
S - The nose is subtle yet elegant... Loads or orange zest... A mild wheat component... A very light mix of earthy and floral hops... A touch of lemon... Very nice, but a bit too understated... A bit more umph would make a big difference...
T - The nose was a terrific indicator of what to expect on the palate... A big slightly spicy wheat component to start... Loaded with orange zest as well... Some light lemony notes as well... The hops rise on the finish and take on a slightly earthy and floral mix...
M - On the lighter side of medium bodied... Sleek and smooth... Clean and crisp... Starts lust... Mostly sturdy throughout... Finishes with a sharp dryness... Also a bit gritty and chalky on the finish as well... Brisk sharp carbonation...
D - A rock solid "American IPA..." That's in quotes, because I'm not 100% on board with the style classification... Regardless this a very easy drinkable, ridiculous quaffable offering from the Boston Beer Company... I would gladly knock a couple of these back on any nice spring or summer day... Heck, I may even grab a six pack on occasion when the mood strikes... A pretty tasty and enjoyable brew here...

appearance is golden, a bit cloudy. Looks as if there are slight debris floating in dense beer. The smell reminds me of some bad orange juice. Not too appeasing. At least the taste is strong as an IPA should be. Hints of citrus then immediately goes downhill. Old musty OJ is all I think.
I would not recommend to a friend bottom line.
