Bottle from seasonal case poured into a large globe glass. Pours a clear light golden with a half incch of whitish foam. Retention is decent but the beer does seema bit light as for carbonation.

Aroma offers some pleasant yeast notes along with some floral and lemony hops. Not much malt depth but then not expected given the ABV. Bit hard to garner overall. Taste follows with a light malt character and a flowery spicy finish. Touch of harsh grainy bitterness at times. Feel is adequate for the beer, light and easy with enough body and carbonation to match the delivery. Not watery in nature but not far from it either. Drinkable yet simple, well done for what it aims to be.

Nice amber color with copper tones. Head white, fading somewhat soon. Nose: yeasty, as expected, but also some nice spiciness from hops. Taste: unfortunately does not seem to deliver what the color and nose promise. Somewhat dry throughout. Surprisingly mild. Yeasty taste that would be expected in the style is present but not especially remarkable. Hops are mild as well. Taste seems to grow, fade, and grow again, a somewhat uneven experience. Mouthfeel dry and fading quickly. I'm surprised that this was not especially flavorful; the drink-by date was August according to the label.

LOOK: Bright golden/amber, touch of haze, thin white lace.

SMELL: Fresh toasty bread, light bubble gum, floral hops, faint tropical fruits.

TASTE: Crisp carbonation, creamy, light on the palate, dry upfront, bitter, lemony, apple-y, toasty malts, biscuity, dry, yeasty, tea-like linger.

Not too shabby. Reminds me of some of the first basic Belgian Pale Ales I had in my early beer geek days. No frills, but it's got some flavorful and quite drinkable. Wish it was a tad bit cleaner on the finish though.

Shared at bu11zeye's 10,000th rating tasting.

The beer pours a yellowish color with a white head. The aroma is fairly fruity with a lot of orange and lemon notes, with a little bit of malt and some yeast thrown in. The flavor is similar, with a nice wheat malt backbone, with some grain and some orange also present. Thin mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Fairly straightforward. Nothing offensive, but nothing really stands out.

Poured from a bottle into a pint glass.

Appearance: Amber with a thin white head. No lacing on the glass.

Smell: Cloves, wheat and hops.

Mouthfeel/Taste: Smooth medium bodied. Taste of cloves with light hops.

Overall: Ok brew. Not my first choice.
