I poured this beer and it has a dark brownish color body(almost like ice tea) with no head to it. The smell has a roasty choc malt aroma to it. The taste is malty with a little choc and a bread, doughnut flavor. Mouthfeel is smooth and overall pretty tasty.

Appearance - a dark caramel, iced tea hue, a finger of smooth even mocha foam. Some lacing down the sides for a nice touch.
Aroma - notes of dough, yeast, chocolate, a bit of cola.
Taste - lightly roasted malts with a definite sweet edge. Cola, a note of anise. Ends sweetly with a tickle of hops.
Mouthfeel - weighty, smooth, fluffy carbonation is medium but almost feels less so.
Overall - would buy a sixer of these. Good stuff.

Reviewed from old notes.
12oz bottle poured into a lager glass.
A: Brown in color with caramel shades. Tight beige head, great retention. Plenty of foamy lacing coating the glass in sheets.
S: Brown sugar, brown cocoa, caramel, crust. Rich and inviting. Hints of floral hopping and dried herbs.
T: Brown molasses up front. Brown cocoa and nutty flavors. Bread crust. Dried grass and tame herbal hops in the background. Hint of vague fruit and perhaps just the slightest suggestion of alcohol. Finishes with lingering caramel, molasses, and cocoa.
M: Medium bodied. Full-ish. Rounded and creamy. Moderate carbonation.
O: Well executed, an all-around good brew.
