Clear golden orange beer with a firm cap of off white bubbles. Not a bad start.
The nose is everything you would expect from the style. Hoppy with a musty breath of Belgian yeast and roasted grains.
A nice simple flavor that represents everything about this style in the minimalist way. The hops are there but subtle as are the muted grains. Even the yeast flavor is mild and simple. All of this doesn't make a bad beer but a simple easy to drink average beer. Tasty but nothing exciting.
The mouthfeel rounds out this one with crisp carbonation and a smooth finish that leaves you a little dry. A solid average beer and one that I could see drinking again and again.
