Poured from the 1pt. 6oz. bottle into an Alchemist stange glass.
The color is slightly cloudy goldish/orange with some yellow highlights and a finger and a half of off-white head and a nice thin sheet of lacing left on the side of the glass.
The smell is doughy with some citrus aroma from the coriander that comes off a little dirty. There is a wheat aroma toward the back that is a little more muddy then other wheat beers. The nose is a little pungent and may contain a slight salt aroma as well.
The taste is wheat up front with a little bready flavor, like eating the end piece of a loaf of bread. The coriander comes out and juices things up a bit with citrus flavor washing through. There is a slight salty flavor toward the end that seems to replace a bitterness that is present in most beers but seems to be faint that it is almost not even there.
The feel of this beer is medium to light bodied and goes down easy. It has a smooth finish and makes for quenchable drinker. The first time have had a Gose beer and it was worth a try.
