Purchased: Single from Greenwood Spirits, Bowling Green KY
A: Cloudy, orange-yellow brew with an off-white head a couple of fingers high. Shows excellent lacing and a fair amount of retention.
S: Citrus as in oranges and lemons make for tart aromas.
T: Tangy, with orange zest and coriander spices. Reminds me of a witbier. Other flavors include a low level of grassy hops and some salt/mineral notes.
M: Zesty beer with a high amount of carbonation and a medium body. The finish is tangy and spicy; neither bitter nor sweet.
O: Very interesting ale here -- one that you don't see very often. I'm glad to see brewers try to bring some rare styles to light. I thought this gose was tasty and think it would be especially appreciated in warm weather. I don't have any other beers in the style to compare to, but I enjoyed drinking it.
