22oz bottle poured into nonic.
A: Pours a deep copper/golden color with ample fluffy, off-white head that slowly fades, but persisted until the end.
S: Very biscuity, with a hint of marmalade and honey.
T: Very malty and rather like a buttered biscuit. There was a decided lack of the trademark lactic acid sourness of the style, however. Were this not labeled as a gose, it would score higher. (And if I were being more pedantic and keeping solely to style, it would score lower.)
M: Full-bodied and quite creamy.
O: Overall, this is a rather unique and nice beer, but I don't think it's a very good example of a gose.
