Thanks again to my buddy Pete for breaking into a six pack of this that he had picked up to drink while mowing his lawn. Review is from notes taken on 6/10/2012 and poured from the bottle to a pint glass.
Appearance: Pour is a crisp, light straw yellow in color; tremendous clarity with decent carbonation; starts with a short 1/4 inch head that is slightly off-white -- eventually fades to nothing but a thin island of skim laying on top.
Smell: Tons of citrus -- lemony and a little sugary/saccharine. About half-way through the drink, I determine that it's really a lot like Mikes Hard Lemonade with a bit more a beer base instead of the saccharine mess Mike's is; bit of a bitter happiness makes an appearance.
Taste/overall: Lemonade meets lager, with some saccharine stirred in for sweetness; now granted, I know this doesn't sound all that exciting, but for what the beer is, it works. I would be more than happy so spend four hours on a hot saturday afternoon mowing a lawn, just so long as I had a six pack of this to plow through.

Sam Adams "Porch Rocker" is a GR8 Choice for a super hot,Hazy,Humid, Summer Day,Ultra Refreshing, with a zesty Lemon kick, and a drinkabilty Factor that is quite Honestly Through the Roof, perhaps more of a full on Beer than most Radler's tend to be,..but I myself like that,a very,VERY well crafted Brew with plenty of carbonation and well off the beaten track,I will be drinking a LOT of this Beer this Summer~gr8 stuff! Cheers.

This Porch Rocker . . . Rocks!! It had a great look when I poured it into a pint glass. the aroma was inviting but not overwhelming. the big hook was the taste. This beer was truly meant for summer. it was an excellent pour that was matched by its flavor. it had a great fruity zip that was a perfect match for summer. the color was a perfect golden yellow. this is now on my list for summer enjoyment.
