A: Nice orange hue with 1/2 finger of fizzy off white head. The head fades quickly and there is no lacing left on the glass.

S: Smells of tart lemons and sugar, just like lemonade.

T: Tart and smooth lemonade flavor that finishes with a slight bitterness that cleanses the palate. Very fruity up front taste with hints of melon, lemon and sugary sweetness. Slight, very slight hop bitterness at the very end and the carbonation let you know you are drinking a beer.

M: Very thin mouthfeel. Light carbonation.

O: I think this is a good entry beer into the world of beer. A nice mix of lemonade and beer might help get non beer drinkers into drinking beer. Very refreshing lighter beer that is blended well with lemonade. A good beer for the style.

12 oz bottle into a pint glass.

A: Pours a golden straw color with nice clarity (chill haze aside) and vibrance. A slightly rocky one finger head of white shading fades away relatively quickly, leaving some lacing behind on the glass.

S: There's a definite lemon character here, along with a strong tea leaf note. A small touch of crackery malt hints that this is a beer, but if I didn't know any better, I'd reckon this is just lemon-flavored iced tea. To be fair, I like lemon-flavored iced tea - just not when it smothers its base beer.

T: As with the aroma, a finishing note of pale malts suggests this IS a beer - but only just. The first 2/3rds of the flavor profile are pure lemon iced tea, somewhat drowning out the base beer. This is better than, say, Mike's Hard Lemonade at least.

M: While it is quite sweet (very sweet, really), it makes an excellent thirst quencher. The wet finish suffocates the palate pretty strongly, but this remains easy to drink.

O: If nothing else, this would kick ass on a hot day. As a rule of thumb, though, I don't rate beer/something else hybrids or malternatives highly; this being no exception. I'd drink it over commercial ciders, BMC, or the like in this weather - but NOT over a well-done pure lager. Which incidentally, Sam Adams has a few of.

12oz bottle into a pint glass.

Pours a crystal clear gold with a one finger white head. Decent lacing and head retention.

Aroma is on the sweeter side with lots of lemon and a hint of tea. A little orange is in there too. Not much to let me know this is a beer.

Lemon/Iced tea on the flavor with more orange. A very tiny bit of malt in the background but it is faint. Sweet with some tartness from the lemon. Sticky mouthfeel with a slightly bitter finish.

Overall, a refreshing summer beer although the sweetness limits drinkability somewhat. i would get it again, though.

Porch Rocker pours a clear golden color, with a small lacing head. There is a hint of lemon citrus like note, but smells more like lemon pledge cleaning wipes. The taste however has a nice crisp malty backbone, with a nice strong lemonade like aftertaste. Nice blend of beer and lemonade like flavors, very easy to drink. Overall WOW, a very good refreshing beer that is perfect for a summers day.
