Yay, variety packs! Didn't even know Sam Adams had a wit... well here we go...
Pours the standard cloudy gold, decent head and average lacing.
Smells like oranges, slightly spicing, nothing i'd write home about, in all honesty.
Tastes like the thick orange-y goodness that i'd expect from a beer like this, but didn't really stand out. To me it was like drinking a thinner Blue Moon. Couldn't really pick up on all the "spices" that were claimed on the label, but i'm sure they're there... somewhere.
Good in the mouth, with plenty of substance to hold its ground.
Pretty drinkable, wouldn't really want too many of these but goes down smooth.
Pretty good beer but there are plenty of better wits out there. Very approachable beer if you enjoy other Sam Adams brews.
