Presented in a 12oz bottle and poured into a SA White Ale glass. Has a hazy golden hue topped by a 1" thick white head that caved in and shrank down to a thin ring over the span of a couple minutes.
Smell: slightly yeasty and spicy with notes of citrus, coriander, and pepper.
Taste: light bready malt flavor with some banana and other tropical fruit flavor. Spicy and acidic with lemon, coriander, and peppery hops notes on the back end.
Feel: light, crisp, somewhat tart, and refreshing.
Overall: a nice brew on an 80+ degree day. SA White doesn't have the floral, perfumey nose and taste of some other witbiers but that's fine by me. A beer I would happily have on hand as a summertime go-to refresher.
