It pours a hazy and very bubbly golden corn yellow. A full finger of whipped white head settles soon to a thin froth sheet. Arcs of lacing rainbow across the inside of the glass.
In the aroma, light malt is mildly fruity. Tangy wheat and tart yeast esters pair dough and a general spice note. A foil of hops pass the periphery.
Upon tasting, and eddy of berry sweet malt and crisp tart wheat spin below an estery fog of clove and lemon zest. The hops are slightly peppery and grassy. A touch of biscuit is round and doughy. A distant sour tickle goes fairly crisp and dry in a nicely clean finish. It's mainstream and decently tasty.
Light bodied, it has a peppy, juicy presence on the palate.
Among wheat beers, these whites are prolific, so it's tough to stand out. This one doesn't either, but neither does it come in under the norm. That said, it drinks clean and smooth, quenching well. So maybe it could get lost in a crowd, but there are worse crowds to get lost in.
