Hazy and cloudy looking orange body with a pale golden hue at the bottom of the glass. Head looks like an almost pure white like the snow outside and has ample retention.
Aroma is notably sweet with the orangey citrus notes overlaying a notable wheat aroma of fresh baked bread. Not picking up a lot on the spices with such a strong citrus note.
Taste reveals a bit more of the spices blended in with the rather cloying sweetness of the orange peel. The coriander and peppery-like spice help keep that sweetness in check. A solid malt backbone also seems to help.
Mouthfeel is rather thin but a bit lively on the tongue. Overall, I wouldn't call this the best white ale on the market, but it can hold its own.
