Sam Adams Pale Ale
12oz bottle poured into a standard pint glass
Freshness dating system tells me that it's fresh til the end of May.
Color: Light Amber with a pillowy off-white head
Aroma: Earthy and floral English hops
Taste: A smooth, roast flavored maltiness followed by the earthy and floral hop flavor. Nice smooth bitterness accompanies the malt on to the finish which is smooth and semi-dry.
Overall: It's not my favorite product from Sam. I'm a big fan of most Sam Adam's products but I could take this one or leave it. There are better Pale Ales out there. Not saying I wouldn't drink this if you gave it to me but I don't think I'd buy it again with so many other options out there.
