A - A deep amber to brown with red highlights. Nice rocky white head that fell slowly and left a good sticky lace all down the glass
S - A deep caramel smell along with a very biscuit like malt taste and just a hint of nuts and spices and just a hint of smoke in there too
T/M - A nice rich and thick malty taste with a lot of biscuit and grains up front punctuated by nut and caramel flavor and a some creamy toffee in there also..the hops were very subtle and cut the sweetness of the malt at just the right level. The smokiness from the peat is a constant throughout and is pleasant
D - A very drinkable Scotch ale and with a nice low ABV could session on this all night
