Poured from a 12 oz. bottle into a Sam Adams "Perfect Pint" glass.
Appearance: Pours a very hazy golden orange with a lot of fast rising bubbles. Huge five finger white head with good retention. Leaves a lot of creamy lacing around the glass.
Smell: A very spice forward wheat ale aroma. Big spices up front with hints of cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, clove, and allspice. Wheat grains and pale malts with hints of biscuit and cracker. Decent citrus presence with hints of orange peel and lemon zest. Slight hint of coriander. Some noble hops in the background. Interesting smell.
Taste: Like it smells, but a little more laid back. Spices up front including cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, allspice, and a little clove. Wheat and pale malt with a taste of biscuit, cereal grains, yeast, and cracker. Undertones of citrus orange and lemon. Light noble hop presence in the background. A decent taste but it is pretty light. Could be stronger with the wheat.
Mouthfeel: Light bodied with a medium to high level of carbonation. Crisp, clean, and smooth.
Overall: A decent experiment with the wheat ale style. Spices are nice although the flavors could of been a little stronger overall.

A: Pours a nice orange/amber color with a rich foamy cap.
S: Aromatic spices of cinnamon and brown sugar.
T: First sip is exactly what you expected blasts of brown sugar and cinnamon then you get malty caramel and and some very nice light hops.
B: This one's no wimpy beer, top end of med/full body slight lacing down walls of glass.
O: Overall a very good beer they get slightly different after setting for a while, just wanted to check out the aging.
