P: 12oz bottle into a tulip glass.
A: Cloudy golden yellow with a one finger white head that dissipates quickly leaving behind nice lacing.
S: Hay with some spicy pepper notes and a hint of citrus. Belgian for sure. Not a whole lot going on but it's a fairly unique aroma.
T: Dry and peppery up front with a little bit of orange rind flavor in the finish. The malt seems like it's merely a base to showcase the spices and yeast.
M: Very carbonated and fairly dry. Flavors don't linger very long.
O: This is an okay beer, I like it but I don't love it. I'm not sure I'd go out looking for a 6-pack but if it was offered to me I'd happily drink it. It's not a straight forward witbier that's for sure. The base may be in a wit but the spices are too much in the forefront for it to be faithful to the style.
