frothy head rising up about one finger of white foam, golden hue with an amber tinge, carbonation is quite active which is fueling the good head retention and lacing, a nice looking beer
wow, awesome spread of hops here, you get the clean-herbal, sharp citrus, the fresh cascade aroma and some cone scent all in layers, the malt is definitely detectable but the hops dominate - and I one happy puppy about that, this could shame some 'real' west coast IPAs, this is pretty distinct as well, I don't immediately have a hop flashback to some other beer, filthy tasty smelling
nice bright prickly carbonation, surprisingly not as hop heavy as the aroma (not that the hops are not there), the malt is definitely making itself known and has a subtle honey character, of course the hops are here (and here to stay), you get various bittering notes in the aftertaste,
medium body but yet light enough to be refreshing, this drinks rather easy and should be no challenge for us alpha hop-addicts
damn tasty, damn approachable but yet delivers some pretty good bittering and hop oil goodness, this has wide distribution by me (I work on PCs in supermarkets in ny/nj/ct/pa) ... I am curious to see how the population at large will view this. I think it may be a bit too
aggressive for the regular crowd, but damn as a grab n' go IPA to have in the spring and share at a party... I will definitely scout this as an option and being able to pick it up at the local supermarket (well, not here in jersey...) is a bonus.

Pours into a nonic a clear medium golden with a sticky one finger white that settles very slowly leaving two broken rings of lace behind as it settles .Mild leafy and citric hops along with some sugary sweetness, both are light.A decent shot of citric hops upfront on the palate along with a caramel biscuit base underneath, the hops are much more fruity than bitter wich surprised me a little. Not bad,it's not something to go spend alot of money on but would be good as a "starter" IPA for somebody.

Presentation: It was served on tap at Fridays restaurant.
Appearance: Rebel IPA had slight chill hazed body with a light golden color. The head was bright white, tall and soapy. It quickly settled down to a denser thin cap which hung on well and made some slick lacing on the glass.
Smell: The aroma has a good dose of citrusy and floral hops as well as some lighter pine like hops in the background.
Taste / Palate: It has plenty of hop flavor and bitterness thought out. Its hop character is mostly citrusy and floral. The malt is light and somewhat bready and cracker like. It really just sets up the hops to shine. I would say that it has a firm medium body and the finish has a nice slow hop bitter fade.
