Received a medium gold pint with a modest white head. No lace.
Some citric hop notes and light malt in the nose. Some fruit as well.
Odd brew. A mild IPA, with citric hops and some bread malt. Fruit shines more than anything, but this IPA is really in the middle of the road. Finish is modestly bitter and malty, so the balance here is actually good.
Medium body, good carbonation.
Not bad. A far more drinkable IPA than the extreme versions you find elsewhere. But it leaves you wanting a bit more punch to it. I will say this was excellent with food.

This is a terrific IPA. On a blind taste test, I'm fairly sure I would have thoughts with was Sierra Nevada or some other west coast IPA- let alone from SA. A very drinkable and flavorful beer with just the right balance of tangy hops and an earthly mellowness that makes this a really nice beer to share in a group of people.
