I'd always wondered how juniper might work in a beer. Amber in color, much darker than many IPAs, but without much head, somewhat lifeless.
Ever-greenery and cedar, adding some spice to the nose. Like soaking up the sun in a forest of greens.
Lots of greenery and woodsy earthiness, landing spicy on the tongue, escaping quickly to leave only a bit cedar behind. Fairly one-dimensional though, with little else.
Sparkling on the tongue, ruminates there for awhile, akin to bark from a red cedar.
Nice for a change and I admire the use of the juniper, but nothing great.
