I've had a bottle of this sitting in my fridge for the past several months so so I figured tonight was the night to crack it open. Poured into one of my pint glasses, this beer pours a clear, medium amber/copper color with a nice, fluffy looking slightly off-white/tan colored head that is about an inch thick when first poured. Has very good retention and the head reluctantly eventually settles to a nice thick ring lining the inside of the glass with good cluster of surface foam and good lacing too. Aromas of juniper, honey, and citrusy, floral, piney hop notes are all nicely present. Sweet juniper and honey malt flavors upfront followed by the aforementioned floral and piney hops with a hint of citrus and maybe a slight touch of ginger spice. A very good balance of the different flavors going on here. Has a slightly crisp, mainly smooth, slightly oily/sticky, light to medium bodied mouthfeel with light to moderate carbonation. This one really coats the inside of the mouth and lingers. Easy to drink in the way well crafted beers should be. Certainly worth a try. Another very solid beer from the fine folks at The Boston Beer Company!

12 oz. bottle poured into a sensory glass. Pours a nice reddish dark copper with a tall off-white head that slowly dissipates while leaving a lot of lacing.
Smells of juniper, honey, citrus, and piney hop notes.
Tastes just as it smells, nice hop presence up front and good bitter finish. In between, flavors of juniper run across the palate, giving it a slight gin-like taste. Nicely balanced between the sweet bread and juniper with the bitter hops.
Overall, a solid IPA, with the juniper being a nice touch, easy drinking enough to work in the warmer months, but heavy enough to fit in perfectly for winter consumption.
