330ml bottle - wow, more of an Imperial oatmeal stout, eh?
This beer pours a solid oily black, with loose orange-cola basal edges, and two fingers of puffy, rocky, and bubbly brown head, which leaves some dissolving iceberg profile lace around the glass as it quickly sinks away.
It smells of bittersweet chocolate, bready and doughy caramel malt, sugary tropical fruit, cafe-au-lait, a bit of free-range ashiness, black licorice, and some very tame earthy, leafy, and gently perfumed floral green hop bitterness. The taste is semi-sweet, bready and grainy caramel malt, oaten cereal, medium cocoa nibs, some berry-forward dark fruitiness, weak day-old coffee, vanilla-flecked cream, and more plain leafy, weedy, and floral verdant hoppiness.
The carbonation is fairly understated in its low-fi frothiness, the body a decent middleweight, and generally smooth, with a nice creaminess settling in pretty much from the get-go. It finishes sweet, with the malt, milked-up coffee, and fruitiness carrying the day.
Overall, this is a pleasant enough amped up version of the style, with the near 10 points of boozy-booze keeping their grubby mitts to themselves, for the most part. Tasty, and very suitable as a sipper with dessert, or, y'know, simply as dessert itself.

Dark brown color with just a bit of brown foam. Aroma is quite roasty with some brown sugar. Taste starts sweet with some brown sugar. Heavy body with low carbonation. Overall it's quite good with a well hidden ABV but it's also quite simple.

Served in a chalice from the bottle at Cerveceria Esparte in Conil, Spain.
Appearance: Medium to heavy bubbles on a brownish black body. With a straight tan head rising just about an inch, super thick and drops only after the first sip.
Smell: Light mocha and heavier coffee with pretty evident malts. Super light though.
Taste: Hops and chocolate with an even bitter coffee, not as complex as I would like it to be the malts take over a bit.
Mouth: Medium stickiness, the sour notes confuse you a bit but well done. Might remind you of a black ipa at the end.
Overall: Descent brew, definitely some room for tweaking. I don't want to insult the Brewers but I've had much better for a lot less. Salud!

Dark black with ruby red hints. Creamy foam that doesn't last very long. The smell is full of toffee, milk, caramel, cherry jam, some roasted malt and a nice touch of coffee. Taste follows with sweet malt, milky finish. Chocolate in the background. Really nice stout. Not boozy at all.

On tap at Bondgenoot Craft Beer Festival. Pitch black with a thin tan head that disappears almost immediately. Dark cherries, roasted malts and a bit of coffee.
