Run of the mill Euro lager. Looks nice in the glass, good head and retention, but little nose and a tad to sweet for me. Could deal with the sweetness if it wasn't on the finish which killed the deal for me.

Middle of the pack for the style, enjoyable though. Grainy and not crisp, sweet finish. Smell seemingly has a lot of corn character in it. Appearance is nice, but needs more head. Label and bottle cap logo are well designed.

330 ml bottle with a 9/7/2021 BB date stamp on the back label.
Pours with an amber body that has excellent clarity and a good white head leaving ample but ephemeral lacing on my lager glass.
Aroma. Pleasant and mildly grassy with more honey and bread and less earthiness than usual for the style.
Flavor. Mild, clean and lacking in interesting qualities.
Overall. At least average for the style but disappointing as a product of Belgium.

Clear golden color with a small foamy head. Smells a lot like the majority of cheaper beers that I have had over my many, many years. Typical European beer flavors. The taste reminds me a lot of Carlsberg Beer from Denmark. Same green bottling and very similar labels. Nothing really special but a decent drink for a cheap price.

From the bottle, it pours a clear Yellow color with a modest, though somewhat long lasting, white head. In the nose, it is light and bready. In the mouth, it is unassuming with a light malt flavor.

Head nearly completely disapates by the time I drink. A thin, golden straw with some carbination.
Smell of sweet malt and biscuit.
Taste follows the nose. Sweet in character, little to no hop.
Quick refresher.
Overall, average.

The is golden color that is too bright of a yellow. The head isn't bad and forms well. The smell isn't particularly appealing. There hints if skunkiness (these are green bottles) and somewhat stringent notes. Comparatively, the taste is much better. The malt comes through, being really sweet. The hops are there, but not too present. They offer a nice counterpoint. That being said, this isn't a fabulously tasting beer. There isn't much complexity and the issues with smell are in the background. The feel is good, really smooth carbonation that washes over your tongue. It is velvety almost. Overall it isn't a bad beer but there are better.

Not bad. Bought this at Aldis in Iowa for a little over 6 bucks for a 6 pack. Can beat the price. Smells like Becks. Tastes much better.

Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into a pilsner glass.
Look - Light clear golden body with a big white head that very quickly tampered down.
Smell - Smells a bit skunky, I don't think it's supposed to be like this. Dusty, dirty, and earthy. Slightly rusty. Not really enjoyable, but it somehow is.
Taste - Almost nothing, but there's a slight tinge of rainwater drippings in there.
Feel - Thin body with essentially no carbonation very still and plain, but even with that, it doesn't allow for any extra discovery of flavor.
Overall - Boring at best, incredibly offputting at worst. I'm disappointed in Aldi.

Boasting a mild hop and sweet malt character, this premium lager starts with a light floral aroma and ends with a crisp, smooth finish. Like being kissed by the devils wife. And when it’s over, it’s like dancing on a rainbow, and falling only because you now realize.

Bought a 6 pack from aldi's for under $6. Had almost a hoppy aroma when it was opened. Clean refreshing taste with a light mouth feel and clean finish. Haven't given much thought to beer from ALDI, but maybe I'll go back to see what else they have.

If you like the nasty-arse taste of Stella-Ortwat but want something cheaper- get yourself some Imperium. Yes I made the mistake of buying this. Not knowing it is similar to that rancid brand. BUT....the skuniness can be lessened by using a few drops of fresh lime. Just go ahead and do it. You paid for this shit- go ahead. Its not as bad as some Ive tried but its not as great as some bad ones. Someone here said its close to Heineken. NOT true! Heineken is great. Imperium has a HUGE skunk smell as soon as you open the bottle. Like Stella-Ortwat. No kiddin. Only not as bad.
