Enjoyed from the bottle in a snifter via Jungle Jim's. This interesting quad pours a dark brownish amber with a very nice head of light tan foam that settles to a thick ring, nice layer, and very nice lacing. Nose of subtle coffee, light sweet candy sugars, light spice, and dark fruits. Flavors exceed the nose with Belgian candy sugars and cold pressed coffee on the front and sides that fades to dark fruit notes of plums and dark cherries that fades into a light bitter hops note on the rear with candy sugars, chocolate, and coffee flavors. Nice full mouth feel, light carbonation, and warming finish. Very nice. Feel fortunate to have tried this one.

33cl bottle. Pours a dark brown, with a tall tan head that gives way to a sticky lacing. Smells of dark fruit, prunes, raisins, spices, a bit of dark chocolate. Tastes like cold milk coffee, cherries, chocolate and has a sweet-metallic aftertaste. A good winter warmer.

A: Dark brown and coffee like. No visible carbonation, cloudy on the last pour. Topped with 3 fingers of beige cappuccino like head, leaving a frothy lacing.

S: Figs, prunes and dark fruit. A hint of dark coffee, but its more in the background, like with cream as well, much like tiramisu.

T: Coffee right on the front and all the way through. Light sweetness, some figs as well.

M: Thick substantial body with a little carbonation. Lightly syrupy.

O: For what it proclaims to be, it holds up well. Pleasant coffee beer that is also substantial as a quad. Got in Thailand, drank in Kunming April 12th, 2015.

333mL bottle from Justdoit1234 (thanks man!). Bottled 5/22/14. Served in a Bruery snifter.

Pours murky mahogany with two and a half fingers of rocky, deep biege head. There is some nice retention accross the surface and a thick halo that laces fairly well.

Aromas of brown sugar, coffee, toffee, dates and cherries

Flavors of dark fruit, coffee, burnt sugar, cherry pits, toffee, earth and some mild alcohol. Very bizarre to get so much bitterness in this style but not altogether unpleasant.

Body is slightly lighter than expected but still medium with fairly soft carbonation. The lingering aftertaste blends dark fruits, coffee and burned sugars.

I never thought of adding coffee to a quad but Quadrocinno actually works pretty well. This was a great extra and I'm glad I got to try it. Certainly worth a go for any fan of quads, particularly if you also like coffee.
